What are people saying?
This was an amazing experience. I knew the benefits restorative practices would have on the children we serve but I had no idea the impact this training would have on the relationships between our staff. We are stronger and more united as a result.
Sara Selznick, Senior Director of Programs, Delray Beach
Kerri has exercised passion, patience, and persistence during the course of this training. She has provided many scenarios for us to practice implementation of the skills and practices. Additionally, she has proven to be very knowledgeable with the content and her expertise allowed her to guide us through each phase of the practice. I really appreciate all that she has shared with us.
Helen, Teacher Village Academy
This training has not only given me the opportunity to learn skills to incorporate into my profession but I have also gained skills to strengthen the relationships with my colleagues as well as in my personal life.
Venette Pierre- Family Strengthening Manager ACCF
Through the tools and practices I've learned during this training I feel like we have a proven way to help everyone become valid contributors to their communities. By having a voice and being heard they will put their best foot forward.
Emanual Dupree Jackson, Community Liaison
I came into this training without any prior experience with restorative practices. I felt Kerri’s calming, understanding presence throughout all four days of our training.
Deidre Bates, Activity Instructor
Attending this training has opened my eyes to the need for restorative justice in our community.
Alfred Duncan
This training was an eye and mind opening experience that presented an alternative to the traditional approach to discipline in our schools. I really learned a lot while enjoying the information and interacting with my colleagues.
Prentice Mobley, Recreation Supervisor
This training was very powerful and meaningful to help our kids in the community. I learned a lot from the past four days the knowledge I gained will greatly impact our kids. thank you so much.
Michael D. ACCF
I found this training to be a very powerful and uplifting experience. I really enjoyed Kerri’s presentation of the material especially when we had the opportunity to practice the strategies. I'm looking forward to taking everything I learned back to my school so that we can come together as a community and build strong relationships
Elizabeth Hill, Teacher Pine Grove Elementary
This was an amazing training. I learned so much in a little time. The presenter was knowledgeable in her field and she is also very kind and patient. I was intrigued by her style of presenting the content in a way that was experiential so I was able to experience it from the point of view of the students I work with. It helped me to see and feel the experience in a similar way to how the students would feel if I were to bring this into my classroom. I can't wait and I'm super excited to start off the year implementing this. Thank you so much.
Elizabeth Massenat, Teacher Toussaint Louverture High School
